The Occasion

An afternoon on the line at the Houston Food Bank's Portwall warehouse: Warehouse Prep & Pack, sorting and repacking for the Thanksgiving push. A crew of up to twelve, and lunch together before we walk in.

Two steps. RSVP here so we know you're coming. Then make a volunteer profile on the Food Bank's portal, sign the waiver, and join The Lyceum's group reservation for Saturday, November 21, 1 to 4 PM. Rex sends the group details once you RSVP.

Front lot at 535 Portwall; overflow lot behind the building. From downtown, I-10 east, exit Gellhorn, U-turn, right on Portwall.

What to Bring

Closed-toe shoes (required), long pants, a shirt with sleeves, and work gloves if you have them. Bags go in the lockers they provide.
