Hands-on service days
Caritas is the old word for love you act on — charity as something you do, not just feel. Twice a year, we show up somewhere in Houston where twenty pairs of hands make a real difference.
This November we're at the Houston Food Bank: a Saturday afternoon sorting and packing for the Thanksgiving push, sized for a crew of five to fifteen.
And each winter, the holiday cause is up to all of us — the ballot is open on the Giving Back page.
